This Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from the Langes' longtime vineyard partners, including Freedom Hill Vineyard, Yamhill Vineyards, and our own Lange Estate Vineyards. Each site is a distinctive expression of its relative terroir with differing soil types, elevations, and clonal selections.
94 Points | James Suckling - There’s depth to the aromas here with fresh, crushed violets and notes of orange zest, as well as pomegranate and a sultry, spicy dark fruit core. The palate has very attractive, fresh dark cherries and dark plums fruit with cocoa, too. The tannins are plush and full, carrying purple fruit long into the smooth, velvety finish. A blend of Yamhill-Carlton, Estate and Liberty Hill grapes. This style is sympathetic to the 2018 vintage and works really well. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
