This Pinot noir is a blend of fruit from Lange's longtime vineyard partners, including Freedom Hill Vineyard, Yamhill Vineyards and our own Lange Estate Vineyards. Each site is a distinctive expression of its relative terroir with differing soil types, elevations, and clonal selections.
The 2016 Three Hills Cuvée Pinot Noir has a deep garnet hue with an enticing nose of pink peppercorns, allspice, dried rose petals, and juicy Oregon strawberries, with hints of lavender and nutmeg. Superbly balanced with fresh acidity and silky tannins, the palate shows black raspberries with cherry cola accented with notes of clove, vanilla, and barrel spice.
