Our Classique Chardonnay is vinted with the same degree of care as our Estate and single-vineyard chardonnay. Fruit for the 2020 vintage was sourced from marquee vineyards including Freedom Hill, Durant, and select blocks from our own Estate. In addition to blending fruit from different sites, our winemaking team builds complexity into this wine by using a variety of fermentation vessels including stainless steel, neutral oak puncheons, and a kiss of concrete. Malolactic fermentation is limited, giving this wine terrific purity of fruit and plenty of acidic verve.
