The 2022 Classique Pinot Gris was produced from fruit sourced from Yamhill, Tukwilla, and our own Lange Estate Vineyards. Fermentation in neutral French oak puncheons and stainless steel lend to this wine's round, supple texture and olfactive charm.
Aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple, lemon drop, white flowers, and marzipan unfold on the nose. Ripe orchard fruit and melon, accentuated by lemon zest and fresh herbs grace the palate along with mineral tones. The body is sleek, with bracing acidity, with a finish of orchard fruit, lime, and wet stone.

The outstanding 2022 Lange ‘Classique’ Pinot Gris offers bright starfruit notes that combine with salted peanut, baking spices and melon accents on the palate. With plenty of mouth-watering acidity, this would be an awesome match for Thai fare. Drink 2023-2028

Lange consistently produces exceptional Pinot Gris. This is another in a long line of examples. The aromas are exuberant, with notes of yellow apple, star fruit, peach, and whole kiwi. The palate is rich, textured, and loaded with fruit flavors while remaining poised and balanced throughout. As with the best examples of this variety from the valley, the acid propels it forward and keeps the exuberant fruit in vivid focus. 13.2% alcohol. 8,100 cases produced. Screwcap.
