“A more broad-shouldered Pinot Noir from Lazy River and Hirschy with at least 25-year-old vines in both sites. Ripe cherries, opulent aromatics with red plums and sweet roasted cinnamon spice. The palate is luxurious and ripe, with lots of generosity from the gates. Ripe fruits and notes of lush, sweet strawberries and warm exotic spices, finishing with the structure of rooibos and black tea. Juicy and immediately giving.”  —Clive Pursehouse

“This vintage of the Assemblage is a stunner. Fruit comes from older blocks at Hirschy, Yamhill, and Lazy River vineyards. Aged 11 months in French oak (about 40% new), the aromas erupt from the glass, with perfumed notes of black tea, flower, plum, spice, and cherry. A richly flavorful, lively palate follows, showing pleasing richness and depth. Plentiful tannins back it up. It's gorgeous, needing time to fully reveal itself. Enjoy after 2027. 13.5% alcohol. TCA-free micro-agglomerated cork. 200 cases produced.” — Sean Sullivan

“The 2022 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton Assemblage is a bit coy in the glass but has a lot to say as a rich blend of steeped plums, cocoa and brown spices slowly emerges. Soothingly round yet lifted in feel, this flows across the palate with mineral-inflected red berry fruits that slowly saturate toward the close. It finishes perfumed and gently tannic, leaving a licorice tinge behind.”—Eric Guido. Drinking Window 2025-2032

“Mainly coming from the Yamhill and Hershey Vineyards which are both set on Willakenzie soils. This comes off very salty and savory with fresh herbs and salty soils alongside bright red fruits. The palate is fresh and beautifully textured with a great purity of red fruits, showing loads of mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied and fresh, enjoy now and over the next eight to ten years. Drink 2024-2032"

“From a site located right above the town of Yamhill, the 2022 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton Assemblage is all 777 clone. It pours a ripe ruby/magenta color and has a floral profile with notes of violets, ripe black raspberries, and fresh forest herbs. It offers a lot of pleasure out of the gate, which is typical for this site. Medium-bodied, it’s broader and more expansive on the palate, with ripe tannins a, a plush texture, and a light earth-toned, savory finish. It will drink well over the next 8-10 years.”—Audrey Frick
