Lange consistently produces exceptional Pinot Gris. This is another in a long line of examples. The aromas are exuberant, with notes of yellow apple, star fruit, peach, and whole kiwi. The palate is rich, textured, and loaded with fruit flavors while remaining poised and balanced throughout. 2022 Willamette Valley Classique Pinot Noir
"The 2022 Lange Classique Pinot Noir boasts a medium ruby-purple core with a light blue rim. It’s super young and a bit tight but already showing promise with a gorgeous nose of wild blueberries, Bing cherries, white pepper, dusty earth, and shades of sassafras. It’s elegant on the palate, with rounded sweet tannins playing alongside the zippy acidity. 2021 Willamette Valley Classique Chardonnay
Aged predominantly in stainless steel, the 2021 Classiqué is a bit more plush and round than the 2020’s racy acidity. Grilled lemon, citrusy herbs, a hint of mountain sage, and just a touch of lemongrass are all present. It sports medium-high levels of acidity, but feels rich and luscious on the mid-palate.
