The Langes have sourced fruit from the Duschee family since 1996. Our Dijon clone 76 block at Freedom Hill was planted in 1998. The sites typically warm days and cool nights allow for complete fruit ripening while maintaining essential acid balance.

“The 2022 Chardonnay Freedom Hill Vineyard is a similar color in the glass and opens with highly expressive notes of lemon curd, honeysuckle, candied apples, and a kiss of sweet spice. Medium to full-bodied, it’s fantastic on the palate, with a great finish and a lovely chalky texture, although it has supple, ripe concentration.”—Audrey Frick

"Fruit from this wine comes from one of Willamette Valley’s most renowned sites. Toast cream, apple, toast, and pear aromas are followed by medium-bodied, well-defined flavors that bring sophistication and gravitas. It’s a spot-on example of the variety. Best after 2025. 13.4% alcohol. Screwcap." - Sean Sullivan

"Set on this site that has vines on Billpine Soils, this was stored in 40% new French oak. Chardonnay vines were planted all the way back in 1998. This is heady and delicious stuff that is absolutely delicious to enjoy right now. Nicely textured and rich, with its core of melon and citrus fruits, this is decadent wine that is already beautifully evolved. Drink 2023-2037."
