“A wine with elegance and perhaps a touch of austerity, the Three Hills Cuvée is a brilliant assemblage of Chardonnay from three hillside vineyards in the northern Willamette Valley—aromatics of petrichor, beeswax and grilled lemon peel transitions to a slightly smoky fli“nt note. The palate is delightful with flinty minerality buttressing grilled lemon, wet slate, and rich lemon cream flavours. The texture is outstanding, and the finish goes on impressively. “The 2022 Chardonnay Three Hills Cuvee pours a bright yellow/green hue. Coming from the Freedom Hill and Durant vineyards, it saw a combination of concrete and French oak. It's fresh and pure, with a medium-bodied frame, but it retains lovely ripeness underneath, with a weightless feel and refreshing acidity. It has a lovely, delicate, chalky texture and is going to only improve with another 6-12 months in bottle. Drink 2025-2035.”—Audrey Frick

"With a portion of this gorgeous Chardonnay resting in concrete egg, which gives it a layered texture and rounded mouthfeel, the 2022 Three Hills Cuvee Chardonnay sports a medium lemon core with a lighter neon lemon rim. Meyer lemon citrus notes combine with sea breeze, blanched hazelnuts, and allspice to create a long-lasting and fruit-forward finish. 425 cases produced." — Jeremy Young

The 2022 Chardonnay Three Hills Cuvée is dreamy, with a classic bouquet of ginger-tinged green apples, lemon oils and wet stone. This flows across the palate seamlessly, silky and textural, with a mineral-laden blend of tart orchard fruits and sweet herbs. It finishes with admirable length and potency, leaving a lemon citrus stain while maintaining an amazingly fresh persona. -By Eric Guido on January 2024. Drinking Window 2024-2028.

The aromas of Ginger Gold apples and wet straw are positively fall harvest-like. The apple flavor on the palate is tarter, suggesting a Granny Smith to go along with kiwi and olive oil flavors. You can expect some body here, with a lush mouthfeel and modest acidity. — Michael Alberty
