The Langes have sourced fruit from the Duschee family since 1996. Our Dijon clone 76 block at Freedom Hill was planted in 1998. The sites typically warm days and cool nights allow for complete fruit ripening while maintaining essential acid balance.
Freedom Hill Chardonnay is a splendid embodiment of elegance, cultivated in the unique Belpine marine sedimentary soils of the Freedom Hill Vineyard. This exceptional wine greets the senses with a kiss of Asian pear and cantaloupe, enveloping the palate in a luscious, fruit-forward embrace. Delicate notes of pear blossom and geranium add a floral nuance; offering a refreshing contrast to the balanced acidity that is both invigorating and delightful. The subtle hint of bee pollen provides a whisper of sweet earthiness, rounding out the flavor experience with a harmonious balance. Freedom Hill Chardonnay is a testament to the artistry of Chardonnay done exceptionally with some of the world's best fruit.
